Description
This CleanMax vacuum offers a 10-amp, capped, 2-stage motor with thermal and pressure activated motor protection. This is an extremely durable upright vacuum, with a metal handle tube, bottom plate, and brushroll. The brushroll also comes with replaceable brushstrips. This commercial vacuum has a metal cord hook and two commercial grade cords with a 6.5 inch pigtail, making it simple to swap out damaged cords.
The CMP-3QD professional vacuum also comes with several on-board tools, including an aluminum telescoping Quick Draw wand with a 12 foot cleaning reach. It also comes with a stretch hose, dusting brush and crevice tool. These on-board tools are easily added to the wand by lifting the hose handle, extending the wand by pulling the button back and pushing the end of the wand forward, and attaching the on-board tools to the end of the wand or directly to the hose handle.
To clean the nozzle hose, remove the wand from the hose and wand holder. Squeeze the tabs on both sides of the clear-out port and pull away from the vacuum, checking below and above the port opening for obstructions. Remove the blockages and replace the quick clean-out port by squeezing both the tabs and pushing the hose back into the wand and hose holder. Replace the wand.
This vacuum also comes with a manual reset thermal fuse protector, which will safely shut off the vacuum cleaner to avoid potential damage should there be a cutoff in airflow. If this happens, unplug the vacuum cleaner and check for the problem (over-full bag, clogged hose or filter, etc). Correct the issue and then locate the “tripped” fuse. This will be a small red or white button on the lower left side on the back of the main body (about one inch to the right of the left wheel). Use a pointy object to push the reset button and plug the vacuum in to resume use.
